Appearance

Kazuki may look frail but her body is really strong and has great endurance. Even though having long hair would be a disadvantage in competitions, she wants to keep it long due to a promise. Her face in general looks younger than what she is, often confusing strangers. She likes to wear pastel colored clothes. Any kind of clothes (except those which show too much skin) is fine with her. She never wears make up.

Personality

Kazuki is a very honest and somehow motherly person. She always takes great care of her friends. However she changes a bit when it comes to competition. She always wants to do her best and can get really serious and competitive while swimming, especially if it’s against a boy. She wants to show boys that a girl too can be great enough to beat them. She has a hard time hiding problems from others and she know it, thus why she often avoid being around others by finding random excuses. Kazuki is also easily emotionally hurt, she may hide it by a mask but just something to make her remember and she will become depressed again.

Depression: Since Rin left without saying anything to her, she is in a state of depression. 

History

Kazuki went to the same Elementary School as Haru, Makoto, Nagisa and Rin. Nagisa and her where already childhood friends at that time and she joined the swimming club because of him. During the year of swimming with the four boys she became fast friend with each of them especially Rin since they had a rivalry.

When the competition where the four boys would do a relay came, she herself had a competition. She was in the 200m in the butterfly swimming, a style she perfectionned by swimming against Rin. When she had her trophy in hand and wanted to go meet the boys, she stopped herself thinking it would be best to let them celebrate their own victory.

The next day, when she went to the swimming pool and asked where Rin was since he was always here before her, her heart got crushed. He left for Australia without saying anything to her. Not wanting anyone to see her cry, she dashed out toward her home. That was the last time she saw Haru, Makoto and Nagisa before High School.

Abilities

The order of the swimming she is best at is: Butterfly, backstroke, freestyle and breathstoke

Trivia

-She stopped practicing the butterfly style after Rin left

-She is the same as Haru but toward marine life instead of water

-She often cries before falling asleep, always wondering why Rin left without saying anything to her even though they were close

-Her talent for singing and her white hair are the reasons Nagisa started to call her a Beluga

-The only one who saw her cry because of what happened is Makoto

-She actually as a dolphin, an orca, a penguin, a shark and a beluga pillow in her room

-She has a fascination for Rin’s sharp teeth

-She often go to Haru’s house to make him food since she knows that if she doesn’t he will only eat mackerel for the rest of his life

-She also helps Makoto babysit his siblings when his parents are away
