Appearance

Rin has very long hair that stop just before her butt. Her body has a slight hourglass form, lacking a bit in the chest area to be completely an hourglass. Her legs are quite strong due to walking a lot while her arms are more slender. Her eyes are sharp looking and always seem to stare into your soul. She is always seen with her red hat with a flower on the side and with a white, grey or black sweater with buttons on the front. In spring and summer she wears mini short while in autumn and winter its skinny jeans. She has red gloves, well two pairs, one have the fingers all covered and the other doesn’t cover her fingers.

Personality

Rin is very confident in her skills as a trainer and will never refuse a duel. During the duel, she will seem very harsh with her words but she only says them to make her opponent realize all the lacks in his way of fighting. Outside of battle, Rin is a very understanding and gentle girl. However, it may be out or in battle, Rin doesn’t like to be kept waiting and has a very short temper. She cares deeply for each of her Pokemon in her team and sees them as her friends. She is especially close to her Lucario since he can actually talk to her by telepathy. Her battle style is to quickly k.o. the other Pokemon with powerful moves so that her Pokemon get the least damages possible. Getting out of a battle with all her Pokemon still conscious is her primary objective since she doesn’t like to see them hurt. Her team was created by studying types and picking her favorites. Each of her Pokemons’ weaknesses is covered by another Pokemon which is strong against the type the first is weak against. She even made her Pokemon learn different moves type to be able to cover all Pokémon types they may encounter.

History

Born in Pallet like the legendary trainer Red and his rival, Rin led a quiet life until her older brother came back from a trip. A year before, just before he was about to leave, he promised her that he would give her a special gift when he would come back. The special gift turned out to be a Pokemon, a Torchic to be exact. And it’s at the age of 12 that Rin decided to do like the two boys that went on an adventure 2 month prior.

5 months after she left, Rin had finally gotten the perfect team she wanted with her current Pokemon. She had passed all those month searching and studying Pokemon as well as challenging many gyms. In no time she had defeated all the gyms leaders in Kanto and to be sure to be at her best before she challenged the league, she went to Johto and challenged all the gyms leader making her have her current 16 badges. After that she went the challenge the league, defeating it with little struggle. This easy victory was heard of and in no time, The Golden Strategist was a popular topic of conversation.

Trivia

-Because her first Pokémon was a Torchic, she got used at defeating easily Grass and Bug types, making her look at those types with a bit of disinterest.

-Her Luxray even consider human males to be his rivals, often scaring every boys that tries to approach Rin

-When in double battle, she often sent out her Espeon and her Umbreon. She thinks that those two makes the best team after her Blaziken and her Lucario

-She feels bad about her Gyarados. She would like him to get out more often of his Pokeball but he can only be happy out of his Pokeball if he is in the water. That’s why when she takes a break of walking, she always tries to find a spot with enough water to contain him

-When taking a break, she let all of her six Pokémon out of their Pokeball (That is if there’s water close)

-Rin is very sensitive to the climate, getting cold or hot easily

-Although appearing confident, Rin is actually pretty shy around people

-When she heard what Red became she started regretting not getting to know him and also Green more during their childhood, she feel like if they meet again the distance will have grown too wide for them to even remember her
